The students, mostly 16 year-old girls, claim that they chose to attend classes in our school based mainly on themselves and their peers. They stated that they trust their teachers and that the latter are open-minded and willing to help. According to their answers in the questionnaire, when at school, they receive help both from teachers and friends and almost all of them feel as in any other place (comfortable, different). Using the dialogue seems to be the best way to solve their differences and they accept foreign students. They have mostly participated in multi-cultural festivals. They are not interested in other students’ gender, nationality, religion, color (in case they have to vote for a classmate). Most of them answered that they feel comfortable hanging out with classmates of a different religion, sharing opinions on the matter. A large number of students though claim that they would not like to hang out with classmates who speak a language other than their own. As for the teachers, they are not considered to be negatively biased towards students’ different traits.

The students scored very high when asked whether they have difficulties doing school tasks (mainly memory and organization problems). They mostly ask their friends for support, not experts, but in case they do so, gender is not important. Their own opinions and advice from other family members are both very important when they want to decide where to turn to for help. They attribute their problems to lack of effort or indifference. Most of the students feel at ease a school because of their friends. They are interested in sports and theatrical groups.

They generally believe that our school promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion. According to what they answered in the questionnaire, the teachers encourage discussions aiming to the eliminate stereotypes and they also provide the students with a lot of activities that will help them build social awareness.
